Life Engine ("the App") is a cellular automaton simulation for iOS. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the App does and does not collect.

## No Personal Data Collected

The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. Specifically:

- No account creation or login is required
- No name, email address, phone number, or other identifying information is collected
- No location data is accessed
- No contacts, photos, or other device data is accessed
- No analytics or usage tracking is performed by the developer

## Local Storage Only

All app data is stored locally on your device:

- **Saved patterns:** Custom patterns you create are saved to your device's local storage using Apple's standard persistence frameworks. This data never leaves your device.
- **Session state:** The App saves your current grid state so you can resume where you left off. This data is stored locally and is not transmitted.
- **Preferences:** Theme selection, grid size, speed settings, and other preferences are stored locally on your device.

This local data can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the App.

## Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version of the App displays ads provided by Google AdMob. Google may collect certain data for the purpose of serving personalized or non-personalized ads. This data may include:

- Device identifiers (IDFA, when permitted by the user)
- IP address
- General location (country/region level, derived from IP)
- Ad interaction data (impressions, taps)

You may opt out of personalized advertising through your device's privacy settings (Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking). When you opt out, only non-personalized ads will be shown.

Purchasing the "Remove Ads" in-app purchase eliminates all advertising and the associated data collection by Google.

## In-App Purchases (Apple StoreKit)

The App offers optional in-app purchases processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. The developer does not receive or store any payment information. ## Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since the App collects no personal data from any user, it is suitable for users of all ages. The App carries a 4+ age rating.

## Third-Party Services

The App uses only the following third-party services:
