RedlineRoom turns your Apple Pencil redlines into a numbered punch list. Circle a problem on a PDF drawing, scribble the note, and the app transcribes your handwriting into a clean, numbered item pinned to the exact spot on the sheet — then export the list to PDF or CSV. Markup and export are always free.

RedlineRoom Unlimited removes the free tier’s transcription cap. Subscriptions are billed by Apple through your Apple Account and renew automatically until cancelled.

Restore a purchase
If you reinstall the app or switch devices, tap Restore Purchases on the paywall or in Settings inside RedlineRoom to re-activate an existing subscription. Restores use the Apple Account that made the original purchase.
Refunds
All purchases and refunds are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Is there a free version?
Yes. Drawing, the running punch list, and PDF/CSV export are always free with no limits. The free tier also includes 20 AI transcriptions every 30 days. You can always type an item by hand for free, even after reaching the cap. Unlimited only lifts the transcription cap.
What does Unlimited cost?
Does it work offline?
Markup, the punch list, and PDF/CSV export work fully offline. Transcriptions captured while offline queue up and complete automatically when you reconnect (while you're within your free transcriptions, or with Unlimited). You can always type an item in right away.
What happens to my drawings and photos?
Only cropped images of each markup you choose to transcribe are sent for handwriting-to-text — the markup itself plus a small surrounding area of the sheet, never the whole page — and they are not stored on our servers. We never send your full drawing, project names, or personal data, and there is no account. Photos you attach to an item stay on your device and appear only in exports you choose to share. The transcription looks wrong — what do I do?
RedlineRoom shows its confidence and flags anything unclear for you to review. You confirm or edit every item before it’s counted or exported, so nothing is auto-accepted. If you see consistent misreads on a certain handwriting style, email us a description — it helps us improve.
